Black Art Is.... aims to provide a resource that recognizes, records, responds and reflects on black artworks whilst responding to questions that arise regarding their historical and political significance. With that in mind, we practice object based learning through looking at contemporary art explorations, 
as well as applied and decorative arts from the past created by people from the African diaspora.
